What would be considered Nellie's Back To School Dress? When I went to AGPNY the other day, just to take some pics and look around, I noticed all the historicals were in their back to school outfits, but not Nellie. She was in her Irish Step Dancing outfit. Are they considering this her school outfit? Then in a old catalog I have, they have Nellie's Christmas outfit as her back to school outfit. I'm all confused. Can someone clear this up for me? Thanks. I'm going to post the pic from the old catalog. I have to go through it and find it. So someone let me know if you all know, because I want to change my girls for back to school.

I have seen her with Samantha in her valentine day utfit as her school one. I wonder why she never did get an actual school outfit. If I remember corrctly, she did go to school.

Samantha has enough clothing for an army of Samanthas, she can share.
Nellie needs a school outfit. The same is true for Emily and Elizabeth. When Pleasant Rowland had the company the school book was the second in the series. Now school is forgotten. A sad case of mixed up Mattell priorities.
How can modern girls identify with the friends without a school experience?
So what Samantha dress would match Smanthas school dress?

No Samantha has her Buster Brown dress which is the all black one.
If I remember correctly, Samantha goes to a private academy while Nellie opts to go to more of a vocational school. I would think that Nellie could wear Samantha's simple gray school dress while you could put Samantha in her meet dress for school. You could also dress them both in the gray dresses or choose another dress entirely for Nellie as long as it was something practical looking. How about Addy's work dress or even Kirsten's work dress. Hmmm . . . how about Addy's striped dress? It is on sale now for only $10 and I bet the colors would look great on Nellie.
